The Feed Delivery Scheduling Assistant (FDSA) is one of the three Planning and Projection modules that utilize the data maintained in the Information Management modules. Along with the other modules, the circle of swine production is complete, resulting in a more consistent and efficient operation and allowing for adjustments based on market fluctuations.

Group performance profiles are the basis of a system that allows both long and short term forecasting. Feed formulas are created and maintained to ensure a healthy and consistent diet, resulting in maximum profitability. Multiple feeding programs and consumption tables are supported to account for all breed types grown by a company. Consumption can be tracked according to breed or other genetic type, with seasonal variances taken into consideration to guarantee accurate projections and deliveries.

The interface with our Feed Load Out (FLO) program allows the FDSA to connect to the feed mill scale, supplying suggested load capture and actual delivery data. The FDSA also provides load priority management and truck and driver assignments to maximize delivery efficiency.

  • Calculates out-times for all farms to determine proper delivery sequencing and feed type change-over
  • Calculates maximum amount of feed stored and determines how much feed can be sent to each farm.
  • Projects days to empty of all growout groups by farm to schedule all deliveries through slaughter
  • Projects entire group life feed schedule as soon as placement data is available, accounting for mortality
  • Supplies delivery tickets to the SIM and GIM for accounting and group management, eliminating duplicate data entry.
