With the introduction of the Breeder Planning Assistant in 1991, MTech Systems embarked on a quest to develop an entire suite of applications designed by, and specifically for, the poultry industry. No such system had previously existed and the need was apparent. This vision is manifest in the Poultry Management Tool Series (PMTS).
To create a highly effective product, MTech realized it needed the input and industry knowledge found only with the producers themselves. With this in mind, a discovery and development period was initiated in partnership with several regional poultry producers. Each partnership we forged resulted in improvements to the product and additions to the PMTS suite: 1991 saw the introduction of the Pullet Information Manager and Breeder Information Manager modules (later consolidated); 1993, the Broiler Information Manager; 1995, the Hatchery Information Manager; 1997, the Feed Delivery Scheduling Assistant; 1999, the Broiler Planning Assistant; 2001, the Hatchery Planning Assistant; 2002, the Feed Load Out Manager and Feed Mill Information Manager; 2003, the Companion Managers, FlockTrack and EggTrack; 2005, Feed Ingredients Receiving; 2006, Live Animal Weighing System; and 2007, Live Haul Scheduling.
Never resting on our laurels, however, we are constantly adapting and improving the PMTS product line to meet the changing needs of the industry.
