The Planning and Projection modules of the PMTS are integrated to utilize data maintained in the Information Management modules. Using this data, the peripheral modules establish performance profiles. These profiles allow for short and long term forecasting, utilizing company targets to identify periods of over or under production. All modules support “what if” scenarios to best plan future production. The planning modules perform various functions from determining where and when to place production flocks, when to set eggs, when to deliver feed, and when to harvest broiler flocks and optimize the best sequence for pick up. The planning and projection modules complete the circle of poultry production, resulting in a more consistent and efficient operation and allowing for adjustments based on market fluctuations. Working in concert, these modules comprise the integral components for return on investment (ROI) analyses.
