The Flock Management modules of the PMTS comprise the core of the PMTS by capturing, managing, generating reports and graphs on all day-to-day poultry operations data. All the data necessary to analyze flock performance is readily available, including flock accounting statistics and field performance values which are, most importantly, in a uniform format, thus eliminating the numerous variations in company reports and the resultant difficulties in sharing data between management sectors. Furthermore, each of the modules feature extensive data exchange which eliminate multiple keying of the same data, and consequently simplified analysis of data from the various segments of production including production planning (refer to the Projections and Planning document). Farm histories are maintained alongside current flock data to manage the flocks throughout the rearing, production and grow out stages. As a series, the information managers cover the entire life cycle of poultry production from placement through harvest.
