The Broiler Information Manager (BRIM) works with the BIM module to comprise the core of the Poultry Management Tool Series. The BRIM captures and manages all day-to-day poultry operations data, providing detailed reports and graphs to accurately track and assess productivity. BRIM allows the user to analyze a multitude of flock performance factors for comparison across flocks, identifying optimum farm and flock characteristics.
All the data necessary to analyze flock performance is readily available, including flock accounting statistics and field performance values which are in a uniform format, thus eliminating the numerous variations in company reports and the resultant difficulties in sharing data between management sectors.
BRIM features extensive data exchange, which helps to eliminate multiple keying of the same data, and consequently simplified analysis of data from the various segments of production, including production planning. Farm histories are maintained alongside current flock data to manage the flocks throughout the rearing, production, and grow-out stages.
- Tracks weight gain per day, feed consumption by feed type, mortality, and other technical flock data
- Calculates average weight sold from processed birds, considering all condemnation factors
- Ranks grower performance based on user-defined criteria
- Manages flock accounting, including chick costs, feed transactions, medications and grower payments
