With BIM, all the detail necessary to analyze flock performance is readily available, including flock accounting statistics and field production performance values. Data is presented in a user-friendly and uniform format, thus eliminating the numerous variations in company reports and the difficulties in sharing data between management sectors who use non-compatible reports.

From point of transfer, the BIM continues to accumulate flock costs up to capitalization. Once in lay, all pullet costs are depreciated across the production cycle. The BIM also allows for viewing the entire flock history, from placement to sale, in addition to independent analysis of rearing, pre-production, and post capitalization stages. System granularity allows for data capture and reporting at the flock, house, and pen levels.

  • BIM works in concert with the HIM and BPA modules to provide seamless data capture and transfer. BPA calculates performance profiles from BIM history.
  • BIM flock pre-cap data, capitalization detail, production detail, and profit and loss are sent to the HIM and BPA modules.
