The Feed Ingredient Receiving (FIR) provides a link from the feed scales to the Feed Mill Information Manager (FMIM). This eliminates any manual entry required for ingredient receiving. Purchase orders are entered in the FMIM with a required receiving date. The scale attendant only needs to select the purchase order and product being received. The received quantity is then transferred from the scale to the purchase order originally created in the FMIM. Ingredient inventories are updated and available for production.
- BIM works in concert with the HIM and BPA modules to provide seamless data capture and transfer. BPA calculates performance profiles from BIM history.
- BIM flock pre-cap data, capitalization detail, production detail, and profit and loss are sent to the HIM and BPA modules.
