To better serve the European markets MTech has established a permanent office in London. Spearheaded by Jim Johnston and Steve Parsons, two executives who have worked for many years in the European poultry sector including time spent managing multiple integrations, our new office will also feature sales and marketing staff, business process consultants and technical support personnel.

The addition of Jim and Steve dramatically increases MTech's understanding of the European production models and key markets. Their complementary experiences in both live operations and processing will be paramount to ensuring the systems and services are optimized to regional specifics.

Jim Johnston graduated in 1978 from the West of Scotland Agricultural College, Auchincruive, UK with a National Diploma in poultry husbandry. He has worked in the international poultry industry for 34 years travelling all over the world to experience different methods of production. Jim has worked with primary breeding companies and major integrators in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Thailand and South Africa. He was a main board director of South Africa’s largest broiler integrator, Rainbow Chicken, and from 2003 was Managing Director of Grampian Country Food Groups poultry agricultural business in the UK.

Steve Parsons has a strong industry background with over 17 years extensive experience as an international business director in the integrated poultry business. He worked for Rainbow Chicken Farms from 1993 to 2003 in different roles from sales to operations management, most recently as group operations director. In 2004 he joined Grampian Country Food Group, the UK's largest meat processor, as chief operating officer responsible for the primary chicken division with its eight manufacturing locations. Prior to joining the MTech Systems Incorporated team, he served as the Managing Director of Cobb Europe Limited from 2006 to 2009, part of Cobb Vantress Incorporated a leading global poultry genetics research and development business.
