Q: What are some of the biggest benefits your organization has had from using MTech Systems software?

A: An integrated poultry software system suite that supports the Live Production Operations (ERP). No further custom development of in-house systems to support our Growout Areas; An up-to-date software suite that is current with industry needs and standards, and is maintained accordingly. With the M-Tech suite of modules there is only one place to go for Producer information, no extraneous systems or files, there is only one place to go to for information.

Q: In your position or department within your organization, what has been the greatest benefit of using MTech Systems?

A: Reduction in the amount of interfaces between in-house built systems and other packaged solutions. With an integrated suite that eliminates a lot of touch points. Use of the M-Tech Standard and Custom poultry software modules is a big step forward in eliminating our Legacy Applications, and in eliminating the IBM Mainframe. Multiple files and data bases have been eliminated, recovery and backups have been greatly simplified.

Q: Has MTech’s ability to integrate information from all aspects of your organization and make it readily available assisted in making day-to-day operational decisions? If yes, please elaborate.

A: The reporting and query tools available to our end-users make it possible to quickly get to day to day information. And if end-users can't do it, then analysts are available to quickly write adhocs and do queries to provide information.

Q: Has the MTech poultry software improved upper level management’s ability to define company direction and best-practices by providing easy access to consolidated information from all divisions in the company? If so, please elaborate.

A: Live Production and Growout Management today has information on a day to day basis. In the past information was only available at month-end closing or when settlements were run for the week. With PPMS, Active Reports, and Column Reports, information can be extracted quickly, easily, and when needed to provide information for decision making.

Q: What are some of the biggest benefits your organization has had from using MTech Systems software?

A: From the Flock and Facility Info Management modules we have improved access, visibility, efficiency and accuracy of agricultural information, and the ability to condense large amounts of data into meaningful reports, in order to make informed decisions. From the Planning and Projection Modules we have the ability to quickly, easily and accurately make longer term decisions and add some science to the ‘art’ of agricultural planning.

Q: In your position or department within your organization, what has been the greatest benefit of using MTech Systems poultry software?

A: Quick and easy access to large amounts of data across the entire agricultural supply chain, and the ability to have this information condensed into a decision making driver for senior management.

Q: Has MTech’s ability to integrate information from all aspects of your organization and make it readily available assisted in making day-to-day operational decisions?   If yes, please elaborate.

A: Data is useless unless it is condensed into meaningful segments that can be analyzed in order to make informed and educated decisions. We have driven hard to capitalize on PMTS’ ability to deliver data that is ‘live’ in order to support quick decision making. We will drive this further to ensure that data can be analyzed at the very highest level and that PMTS becomes the key decision making driver for agriculture and planning.

Q: Has the MTech software improved upper level management’s ability to define company direction and best-practices by providing easy access to consolidated information from all divisions in the company?  If so, please elaborate.

A: Senior management is far more aware of the complexity of agricultural processes, information management, and the planning and projection of supply chain issues. We are excited about the fact that we can make the data available, visible and in a transparent manner drive decision making in the company.
